Dear Melinda,
I notice the author wants to speak to moms currently BF preschoolers-how
about us "old-timers" who BF "long term" and have older or grown children who
have turned into wonderful people, highly independent, healthy, capable of
intimacy and wise beyond their years? I for one would think that holds a bit
more clout if she is looking for the normalcy of breastfeeding-what's the
outcome. I'd be glad to discuss my 2 and the guilt I feel for depriving my
oldest of the same (and the health and psychological differences, too).
Kathy Dettwyler tried this with 20/20 who wants to do a show on extended BF
but they want sensationlism it seems.
