Is that why she chose that title? Or Baby whisperer-- like babies are some
kind of animal to be charmed and trained to do tricks, and not just very
young PEOPLE!
But here is what did it for me, 'it' being deciding that this book is a huge
commercial hype devoid of worthwhile information:
"Take all opinions into account, but be cautious about whom and what you
consult; know what a particular resource is trying to sell."
Can anyone help me? What is it I am trying to sell? I am not a human milk
broker, I do not manufacture products for sale, I do not charge for my
services as they are part of my publicly funded job, which they are for all
maternal/child health professionals in this country.
This person is so ignorant about lactation and human milk it is appalling.
She is trying to sell her book and has no trouble selling her services. I
will not be buying either one.
Thanks to Elizabeth Pantley for doing the dirty work for me. I am having
all I can do to read Babywise in Norwegian (it's true) for a review. Never
knew before that postpartum soreness is due to the thickness of colostrum,
necessitating high suction by the baby. Actually, there seems to be a lot
about BF which only the Ezzos know.
all steamed up and nowhere to go, and it's Saturday night again!
