The first mom I ever worked with for relactation, 25 plus years ago, wanted
to   get back to  nursing her very allergic 5 mo old.  (he had nursed first
few weeks if I remember correctly.)  He was willing to suck on the empty
breast!  He got donated and milk bank  milk.  It took about 2 1/2 mo for
her to completely BF him.  Then  he was only nursed for another 2 1/2 mo
before she tried outside sources of food again.  This was before
