I agree that it sounds like she may be dealing with some PPD. A good herb
that would both help her relax and would also address postpartum
depression/chaotic hormones is Motherwort. This herb is not contraindicated
while breastfeeding. Another herb that would help her sleep, but would
probably not do anything else as far as hormones/depression is Valerian.

It's possible, but I think it's doubtful, that the Sleepytime tea and honey
made her baby fussy. Probably coincidental. Her baby is getting into that
normal evening fussiness age anyway.
