Those of us encountering BabyLies (Babywise) users need to understand that
sleeping through the night is elevated to the number one goal of parenting
in GFI-land.  Amongst the many abusive posts on the now defunct GFI Forum
(the GFI bulletin board for parents using GFI materials),  one Contact Mom
posted about her child vomiting and sleeping all night in his own vomit
rather than coming and waking her up.  Yes, she had 'trained' him all too
well, (via 'chastisement--GFI speak for spanking with an 'implement') to the
point where she feels no shame in this horrible incident.
