Ok, a short funny story.
I have never made a long journey without having my period along for the
ride, except for two made shortly post partum, when a period would have been
gilding the lily :)

When I had a 10 month old baby and was still in LA heaven (not LAM, just LA)
I planned a long trip, 12 hours by plane, five months in the future.

Guess what happened for the first time in two years, the day before I was to
leave?
