The only help I can offer is that Tiroxina sounds like it would be
Thyroxine, in Spanish. The others I can't figure out....
Regina Roig Lane, BS IBCLC for Miami-Dade County WIC
-----Original Message-----
She is taking "Tiroxina". Her MD wants her to start "Xenical" for control
of "fats" and "Mepformina" to control the "low Insulin levels"
(Problem - I don't have the generic names, I've requested them... Can't
find them in Hale)
Her husband is very upset and wants her to stop breastfeeding to avoid
additional risk to mom.
Can anyone provide me with any idea what these meds are and what
alternatives are there? Thanks!
