Just as a note. In the hospital where I work in Western Australia, and women
don't go home for (shock horror) 72hrs after a vaginal birth and (gasp) 5
days after a C/Section, we have "obs charts" on the end of the baby's cot
where all feeds are recorded, along with wet and dirty nappies (in tick
form) and any midwifery observations (temperature, resp rate, heart rate),
weight for the day, etc
