Hi, I'm finally back.
I picked up a new patient the other day who is a 5 month old past breast feeder.
The baby had cardiac surgery a few months ago and in the time leading up to the surgery went from breastfeeding to expressed fortified milk feeding to formula.

The last the baby was to breast was a few brief attempts in August. Mom stopped pumping on Oct 23 but after our talk she is going o start pumping again.

Anyone have any experience getting a baby of this age to the breast again?
