There must be something going around, because 'everyone' is having
especially frustrating experiences this week.
I agree with Jennifer about the reasons to get upset.
I am also worried about this 3 week old baby. If mother's supply is so
good, why is baby not gaining? Allergy is a possibility. But is it too
early to be thinking about inborn errors of metabolism or even more serious
hereditary disease, like cystic fibrosis?

On a lighter note, my firstborn, now 19, is visiting for a few days. I
showed her the infant feeding booklet I reviewed, asked her if she was
struck by anything at all about it, and it took her less than two minutes to
notice how alone the baby was in all the illustrations, and how absent
mother was. There is hope!
