 you are very correct... and there is so much more - infants/children are not
seen as "people" they are "told" what they think and what or if they feel..

  many adults have never been around/interacted with and choose not so they
don't know how and most people are "scared" of what they don't know... what
would happen if the infant/ child needed thing? what happens if we discover
that our beliefs about them ar e not true?
