I may have the worst, 28 days with both, exclusively breastfed, coslept and
with the oldest, attached almost continually until he learned to crawl at
nine months, no pacifiers, etc. My oldest had one bottle, carrot juice at 9
months, everything he had on when he stooled had to be abandoned, so it was
a one time event.
I had my period every 28 days from age 13 until menopause unless I was
pregnant. And I got pregnant when the oldest was five months old,
breastfed, no solids plus a diaphram and spermicide. The miracle in my
family is that I only have two children. My mother has a similar track
record, only with more children to show for it. When I try to talk to my
mother about breastfeeding limiting pregnancy, she refuses to believe it
would affect anyone. She thinks I made this information up.
