I completely agree here!  I might also add that whatever happens to this
poor child he will undoubtly spend much of his adult life in counseling.
Here's to hoping that if he ever marries that he will be supportive of his
wife breastfeeding and not allow this horrible experience to color it.

It's very important to the family dynamic to discuss with an older child
that nurses how you will respond when people ask you about it.  My fear is
probably the fear of many here.... it will color the face of nursing for
many people.  I have already answered questions about my 21 month old
nursing that I never would have needed to answer if it wasn't for a story
such as this.  We all have to remember how biased the press can be in
situations like this!
