The WIC nutritionist at our clinic did a great display last year for World
BFing Week. It was a picture of a Dragon slayer fighting off the dragons with
his sword and spear. The dragons had armor coats that depicted with pictures
or words the "bad" stuff bfing guards against--like diabetes, allergies,
asthma, etc. The kids loved this very visual image of breastmilk being the
"good' vs 'evil". And she didn't depict formula as the evil--just the
diseases and infections.
LLL did a display at a local children's museum one year. They did a reading
corner with floor pillows, children's books about bfing, a nursing doll and
the poster with the little pictures of moms from around the world shown
nursing their babies.
( Hope that made sense!).
