Haven't posted for awhile, but I thought I would share a different case with
you all today--
*53 year old post menopausal* ( is that what women are called when they know
they have been through menopause?) woman, previous pregnancy/lactation
many moons ago adopted a newborn 4 weeks ago. Had been on many a wait list
for a baby, so was already ready with a Lact-Aid and Domperidone. Baby is
an avid nurser, even for comfort sucking.
Today, 4 weeks into the nursing and domperidone, after waking and feeling
that her breasts were a bit heavier and fuller feeling, was able to express
3 drops of milk! While it does not sound like much - yet!- she is thrilled
to see activity!
Will keep you all posted as to what we see over time in terms of supply.
