Re: the baby growing by leaps and bounds who makes clicking noises while
nursing: unless there is pain in mother, I would call this an endearing
idiosyncracy and then ignore it.
At the rate this baby is gaining, I am wondering when it is doing the
non-nutritive nursing?
Maybe the clicking will stop when the thrush clears up. If not, mother
should not try to go to the movies with that baby discreetly under her very
roomy coat because she WILL get caught.
Seriously, the clicks may be due to some tongue action devised by the baby
to keep from drowning while at the breast. But I am still not sure what the
Problem' is, other than the sound.
