Hi all, I would love some input regarding a project I will be working on.
I am an Rn/LC with a private practice x5yrs. and a part time position as a
visiting nurse.
I have been contacted by a nurse within a pedi practice, she would like help
and direction from me to evaluate and improve their office's current breast
feeding support and would like me to provide inservices to the staff. I am
excited about the oppurtunity and have SOME ideas for what I would want
included eg. notes from the aap's baby friendly office intitiative and areas
that i have identified through my own practice as needing improvement in the
pediatric setting. Are there LCs out there in similar settings who have
tackled this and would be willing to share their experience- ie. what types
of concerns were most pressing, best to address first etc.
Any or all ideas would be helpful to me! I am meeting with her next week....
As always, I am so appreciative of this forum! Thanks in advance.
