Have you tried cupfeeding this baby? That way baby doesn't take anything really
into the mouth. Caregivers can learn to cupfeed as they can learn to bottlefeed.
And by the way - this is a very clever baby: just wants the real thing! I
actually like to point this out to mothers who have troubles with baby not
wanting a bottle. It is similar to the explanation someone earlier today gave
abouy babies being so smart that they can take time between feeds after nine
months of continious feeding.
