I have pretty good results with applying lotion (lansin..) around baby's
mouth, nose, chin etc. The purple still gets on, but most of it wipes right
off.  I learned this because it seemed my whole house was purple when my
twins and I required tx. (I even had oral thrush, and no antibiotic hx!)
