Hello everyone,
I have been lurking for a long time now and have been enjoying the very interesting discussions. Now I would like to introduce myself as I have a question. I am an American nurse living and working in Munich Germany. I did my exams last year and work in a large maternity hospital but unfortunately not as a LC. That hasnīt stopped me from trying to improve things on the breastfeeding scene here in our hospital and I can certainly sympathize with all of the frustrated hospital-based LC`s that have been writing in recently. I do have one success to report: our formula supplier complained recently that we are not ordering as much as we used to!

My current battle at work is against the excessive use of nipple shields and I would be very interested in reading that issue of JHL that Martha Johnson mentioned this week. If someone could tell me which issue that was that dealt with nipple shields I would be most appreciative as I would like to back order it.

      Thanks alot - Linda
