Without a doubt, cow's milk protein--not lactose! I am mentioning this on the
list, b/c I just worked with a mom whose ped told her to stop consuming dairy
products and her solution was to buy Lactaid (product to digest lactose). She
assumed, as many mothers do, that it is the lactose, not the protein they are
trying to avoid.
