The baby's weight was 8-0 and was not preterm. Hematocrit if I remember
correctly was 19.0. The baby was showing no signs of dehydration. Very
active.
I am sorry I confused you with the statement <that baby & mother were the
same blood type & coombs negative, yet in the last sentence mentioned that
the doctor diagnosed an ABO incompatibility?> The baby with ABO
incompatiablity was another baby whose doctor ordered supplementation.
Baby had no signs of dehydration at that time either.
