You're right, of course. I don't think it was appropriate to withdraw bf in
this case. Hell, what was 6 hrs going to do? But I do appreciate having a
"rationale" however weak, so that if any doc throws that one at me, I am
ready and knowledgeable about it. And can make my argument back. I maybe
could have convinced this doc to give elemental formula while baby bf at the
breast with a supply line for 6 hrs. That would have been a lesser evil.
