I tell moms their milk is a product of their blood. "How's your blood doing
these days? Holding you upright? Keeping you conscious? You feel okay?
Then your milk's fine." Pretty simple-minded, but really! If a woman with
cystic fibrosis produces good milk, these docs would need to explain to me
the mechanism by which an otherwise normal woman with normal fat intake
produces oddball milk.
