"offering the first breast first until done then offering the other - it's
ok if baby doesn't want it that time"
.....some times you feel like having desert after a meal and sometimes you
don't...........
"don't wait until baby cries to feed him"
........imagine going to your favorite restaurant, being seated ready for
your meal and the waitress doesn't come to take your order. At first you're
just irritated, more time passes and you're pretty darn angry and when your
food does finally come you're too upset to enjoy it..........
"foremilk vs. hindmilk"
....hindmilk is higher in fat content than foremilk, it's sort of like
having cheesecake at the end of your meal - it leaves you feeling full and
satisfied......
"the look of a baby when it's ready to eat vs. full after eating"
....the begining of the meal is the intense look like when a little kid is
going to open his birthday presents - the end of the meal is that look that
the family gets after eating thanksgiving dinner....... [I act this one out]
and one for the dads..... Babies two favorite things to look at are faces
and bullseyes -[I pause for effect as they ponder the bullseye part] think
about what a breast looks like....[they all "light up" when they make the
connection]
