Katherine,

I just wanted to add that it is not enough to tell someone to feed on
"cue". I have run across many a baby that will sleep through feeds,
sometimes as much as 5-6 hours in a day. -- Debbie Albert

I really doubt that it is if mom is feeding on cue and not using any
artificial nipples. I really really do. And saying it like that get's mom
hung up on that number.....i'd like it to be said that "many babies nurse
8-12 times per day, but it's also very common to nurse 15-20 or more times
per day. babies who nurse very frequently tend to nurse for shorter periods
 of time."
