It is my opinion that this little boy is indeed very bright. Just as my 3-
year old who has become a little shy about breastfeeding in public. I have
never said anything to him but from somewhere he has come up with the idea
that what he does is a little different. None of his friends still
breastfeed, urse so the other day he said to me when I asked if he wanted
to nurse at a friends house "Will Anna watch?" Anna being a 3 year old
friend of his. I was surprised to hear him say this because the tone of
his voice was that he would be embarassed to nurse if anyone watched. So
hasn't anyone thought that maybe the little boy when pressured by a father
who obviously has issues with his mother, then strange people asking him in
who knows what tone of voice...do you still want to nurse? I can
almostguarantee that my son would pick up on the opinions of everyone
around him and he is only 3. Of course this 6 year old is probably
embarassed that he and his mother still have this special bond, especially
when his life is in such turmoil with the divorce, but that doesn't mean
that she is forcing him. Who in their right mind would force their breast
into the mouth of someone with teeth that didn't want it there...??? Not
me, Ouch. Barb
