I missed the beginning of this thread, and I agree with Nancy that the
physicians usually do not get money. But they do get "free" trips to
conferences in desirable places. They get easy money to do research (as one
told me, "I went to the Medical Research Council, and the red tape tied me
up for months and I was eventually refused. I went to Ross, and they said
yes immediately, without even looking at the protocol". Doctors also get
"consultant fees" to do what? consultations for the formula companies, I
guess.
