The midwife who postulates that 'nursing during pregnancy may overstimulate
and wear out the uterus, or somehow otherwise reduce the response of the
uterus to oxytocin because of the stimulation from nursing' should get in
touch with those midwives who admonish women to wean on becoming pregnant so
as not to give birth prematurely or even spontaneously abort in the first
trimester.
