I found Pardee's comment about feeding very young babies one breast per feed,
very interesting. I have been insisting that moms really work at waking babies
up to make sure they get the second breast. Pardee's suggestions sound good.
Does anyone else have experience with this? If it does, in fact, do the job,
then maybe it *would* be helpful in the early days when there is often a
struggle to have the babe take breast #2. It does seem as though when you try
to remove them from the first breast that they do, indeed, begin sucking again,
but once off, fall asleep and are difficult to persude to take the second
breast. I'd sure like to hear what others think.

Regards,
Yaffa
