Dear Lactnetters

Thank you so much to all the folk who have e-mailed me with offers of books
and journals for our newly established IBCLE preparation program in
Indonesia.

I am aware of previous discussions about the pitfalls of using old edition
books and will sift through and try to annotate them. It is really a case of
beggars cannot choose. Our ability to raise any funds in Indonesia is
limited because we are low on the priority list of NGO'S etc. Since the
start of the monetary crises the situation has really become critical. Kids
are not going to school becasue parents can't pay and maulnutrition has
rocketed in poor communites, along with unemployment.

Rachel kindly suggested that we set up a wish list on Amazon but I would
prefer not to do that to prevent customs problems.

Linda Smith has kindly suggested that we use some of her internet material.
I was intending to surf and then ask folk, out of courtesty. So if
anyone else has some good material "out there" please contact me via e-mail.

I am also just happy to hear from any Lactnetters regarding there
experiences in developing course material. All inputs and comments welcome.
