It sounds to me that it is related to the plane trip and is left
ear-related, even though doctor didn't see anything. Ears can hurt without
infection. It may not be an infection, but just pressure, as I often have
after a plane flight.

I would suggest that she sit on the couch and put pillows out to the right,
allowing baby to feed from that right breast while lying on her right side,
instead of her left side which would be the case if she were held in the
usual cradle hold.

She could also do "cross nursing" at night if she feeds in bed. That way
baby wouldn't have to change sides.

How long has this refusal been going on? I don't think that a "breast
problem" would come on so suddenly. I think that it is too early to give up
on baby's return to that breast.

If the above suggestions don't work, I would recommend continuing to pump
to keep the supply and give it some time.
