Does anyone have any tips to share (maybe some analogies, as was bing
discussed under the title of 'metaphors') as to how to present the
difference between *exclusive* breastfeedign and breastfeeding -- to women
before they have their baby, maybe afterward too, both to women who have been
exclusively breastfeeding (but may be contemplating offering a
dummy/water/colic drops/animal or plant-based replacemnt feeds, etc), and to
those who have already given something but might not give any more....
Also -- does anyone have a handout which summarises the negative health
impacts of introducing anything other than breastfeeding -- distinguishing
those outcomes which are influenced by doses and those which seem to depend
on the minimum age of introduction of other substances. I would really love
this info in handy form!!!
