Last week at my monthly prenatal BF class, I decided to change my format completely. I opened with a discussion of the "Risks of Not Breastfeeding." I had a group of 10 who sat open-mouthed as I presented the dangers of formula. I finally decided that most people know that BF is better but  when you talk about the risks people really open up. This group was animated, talkative and eventually unhappy that their moms didn't have this information when they were born. All the post-class comments were positive and most mentioned that they were even more encouraged to BF. It was the most fun class I have had in a long time. Linda
