no, i am not correlating these two. but i occasionally hear a mom state that
her baby's age at birth was "37 and 5/7ths weeks" or other similar nonsense.
doesn't it state on the ultrasound machine that it has an error factor of
plus or minus about ten days? and around here, moms are told that getting to
38 weeks with twins is "all they can expect" and the infertility doctors that
have moms on bedrest to prevent early labor all induce them at 37 weeks, all
just examples of complete nonsense that happens to have a negative effect on
breastfeeding as well as other things. and the ones where they were wrong
about the due date and the baby was younger than they thought! its revolting.
women don't even seem to think its natural to go 40 weeks, and that its some
kind of imposition to go that long.

i was told once that in europe a "normal" gestation is considered to be 41
weeks as opposed to 40 here in the usa. true?

would the person who posted about wanting to use breastmilk to treat her
husband's illness please email me privately? my computer was at the computer
hospital. luckily it escaped in good condition and with no ill effects on
breastfeeding. of course, its not a mammal.
