I don't have any information about this particular medication, but a similar
one, in the same family is minoxidil. It is poorly absorbed into the skin,
and only and average of 1.4% (0.3-4.5%) of the total dose reaches the
circulation. This is not likely to cause any problems for the baby, because
the dilution of this drug in the maternal circulation would result in very
very low plasma levels. Very very low plasma levels means very very low
milk levels. If they don't agree with this, then let them use minoxidil
instead.
