So many possible approaches here. How about the basic human right to
breastfeed and be breastfed? How about issues of discrimination? Is it
against the rules to otherwise feed, nurture, respond to and comfort babies
and children by the pool? If not, then they cannot discriminate against her
chosen (and superior) method of doing so. Otherwise out with all of the
pacifiers, bottles and artificial baby milk. If by law (pathetic, but true)
breastfeeding is *not* indecent exposure, then what is it? It seems that the
purpose of the pool rule would be to prohibit just that (indecent exposure),
therefore breastfeeding would be excluded. It seems that the spirit of the
law was an intent to protect breastfeeding. This would certainly be in
conflict with such an intent.
