        My colleagues and I have been graced with the title "Breastapo".  :-}
At least among the L&D nurses.
        To earn this, we gave a quick, 10 minute inservice during a regular
staff meeting of L&D nurses. We gave out (with permission) Dr. Newman's
"How Breastmilk Helps Newborns" and Diane W.'s "Breastfeeding / Formula
Feeding (with credit) found on the 'net. Our purpose was to have them
make one or two positive comments to a laboring mom when they discussed
baby feeding. The handouts were for the nurses only, not for the moms
(not low enough reading level). One meeting comment: "Gee, this really
is heavily in favor of breastfeeding!"
        Yesterday, when I came around on a scavenger hunt for breast pumps on
trolleys that hide in strange places, one L&D nurse addressed me: "Hi.
Are you here to force someone to breastfeed?" I smiled back and said
I'll go see her only if she wants me to. I don't force anyone." That's
when the conversation led to the new "title". It seemed all in good
humor, but it wouldn't exist if there weren't some who truly feel that
way. Not that I'm surprised.
