Would like to know if anyone has had experience they'd be willing to share
with switching from metoclopramide to domperidone? Have a client G-3, P-3
(she's also become a friend) who has had low milk supply issues with each
baby. She was a long term breastfed baby herself and has a terrific support
system, is tenacious, dedicated etc. She got her very supportive MD to get
her a Rx for the domperidone which she had filled in Canada, and she's been
taking it for about a week. She dc'ed the metoclopramide when she began the
domperidone. Should we have gradually weaned her off the metoclopramide -
she's been using it since the baby was 2 weeks - he's now 4 months? It's all
new to both of us and we're groping our way through the dark - would love any
pointers the Collective Conscience has to offer. Thank you.
