there are lots of previous posts about goat's milk for human babies, please
check the archives. i tell moms to feed the baby whatever the family drinks
when the baby is given something in a cup at the table (and for whatever
reason it can't be breastmilk). whole milk until age two, etc. BUT this
advice is for breastfed babies who are offered a cup of something more as a
social nicety, not for babies who are being deprived of breastmilk. although
i don't believe they "need" formula, especially at 11 months, they need
something better balanced.

and don't even ask me about the unpasteurized part! although i will confess
that i once long ago bought butter and unpasteurized milk from a local
convent. i even invented a new slogan for them in case they wanted to make
improvements to their marketing. "nun butter - none better."
