if you really look at breastfeeding as the norm, then you ask "how's
breastfeeding going?" do this until the child is at least five or six.
this is similar to what you say to a new mother . don't ask "are you
breastfeeding?" instead, ask "how's breastfeeding going?" when they look
confused and say they aren't breastfeeding, then you say "i'm so sorry."
which, of course, if you think breastfeeding is the norm, you are. sorry,
that is.
