Hello,
I posted several days ago about a baby with dental cysts/small bumps on
the top gum that are causing pain and breakdown on mom's nipples. I only
received one response to this question. I guess I didn't give enough
information. I was unable to locate something in the archives. This is
moms second child; she had no problem breastfeeding the first. The baby is
10 weeks old and developed these cysts 2-3 weeks ago. There are 2 small
bumps located where the incisors would come in. They are hard and feel like
teeth to mom. I have not seen this mom; this is her descriptions by phone.
Her pediatrician stated that they were cysts. She is trying to limit time
at the breast as well as using lansinoh and neosporin and breast shells.
Does anyone have any further suggestions? Thanks in advance.
