Is this baby at home after 8 days? I realise that in the US hospital stays
are much shorter, but this baby was still 5 weeks early. And 4lb (1800g to
me) is a low weight baby to be taking home. This is just my personal opinion
and 'gut' reaction, but I think sometimes these 'mildly' preterm babies
should be treated more as pretermers and allowed longer to learn to feed,
rather than meeting a minimum weight criteria and sent home. JMHO
