I do recall hearing this connection at some point, but I have absolutely no
idea when or where. Boy, is that useful!
But perhaps it's not just a 'one-off' in terms of what people are hearing.
Could it be to do with decresed oxygen saturation at higher altitudes?
According to a friend who is interested in aviation medicine, an adults SaO2
drops from 98% to the low 90's while flying
