Going Baby Friendly....to any of you who have been working with hospitals,
DRs. including OB's, Peds, etc....and been successful in convincing
administrators, politicians etc. to contemplate the idea of going Baby
Friendly..what has been your most compelling arguments and results, has
going baby friendly been worth the effort for your community...
I'm convinced that it will pave the way for a more breastfeeding friendly
community....I know about the published literature, but what about real
life...We're at least talking about the concept here but what helped your
groups go the distance...how long did it take...pitfalls, difficultys etc.
I know this has been discussed but we have more hospitals (in US and other
areas) so whats the reality now...is this becoming a standard of care or a
still in the future dream.
I want to know the nitty gritty details...to prepare for the avalanche of
questions, complaints, brick walls etc.
