My only thought here is how long was she extracting it
before taking its temperature, and is it going into a
really cold recipiant??? I would perhaps suggest
warming a thermos with nice warm water, taking the
water's temp. to make sure it's close to 98, emptying
it, and extracting into there...because a few tiny
drips at a time, totalling maybe 2 oz over the space
of 15 min. or so (depending on how fast she can
extract it) would cool off very fast in a recipiant
that is much cooler than body temp.
I must admit here...I am one of those larger-breasted
women, and can actually taste my milk at source (don't
need DH to do that) and it *does* taste *very*
slightly cooler than the inside of my mouth...but I
would hesitate to take its temp. after 5 minutes of
pumping into a cooler recipiant and *believe* that
temp...
Only my thoughts about how it might get cooler before
the temp is taken...
