....... a predictor of divorce?
When I became a LLL in 1979 we had a mom in the group who was struggling with a
husband who didn't want her to BF. My more experienced co-leader told me that
she had never seen a marriage last in which the husband was against BF.
In similar cases where I knew the mom over a long period of time, I know of only
one exception. Sometimes the divorce came as much as 10 yrs. down the road. In
my limited sample I am also including retrospective cases, e.g., where I meet
someone socially and in the course of becoming acquainted find out she wanted to
BF but her now ex-husband wouldn't let her.
So how correct was my co-leader? What kinds of outcomes have you seen?
Just wondering.
