For those who practice in a hospital or clinic group or otherwise not solo,
it is a good idea to pool your resources with your colleagues if possible.
We put in for Acad of BF medicine newsletter subscription so it comes to our
hosp office where there are 5 ibclcs. One of us bought Hoover and Clay and
Auerbach's journal, another Dr. Jack, another Biancuzzo, and another
Auerbach's photo book. We share. Sometimes the mgr will buy us some
resources, she approved Tom's Clinical Therapy book. Often if you  belong to
an ilca affiliate group, they maintain a library and you can borrow books,
tapes, videos etc. Or start your own library if your group does not have
one. Also an affiliate or coalition can buy books at bulk prices, like 25 or
50 books, and then this is a reduced price to members. Also makes nice gifts
for WBW.
Laurie - who never has enough money and always has to pay for my own
certifications, books, conferences, etc. so always looking for a bargain.
