I received a call today from an MD at the our state Dept of Health, asking me
if I would be willing to speak for 5-7 minutes to a group of 300 people at
the Health Department's Annual Meeting/Conference on Jan 10th! The theme of
the conference this year is "Is the environment making our children sick?"
and he'd like to present breastfeeding as a significant public
health/prevention of illness issue. I'm thrilled, but a little intimidated
by the time crunch!!
My question: Is there anyone out there who has done a similar talk and would
be willing to share thoughts/outlines/ideas for slides and how to prioritize
what information to present? Or knows of someone I could contact who may not
be currently on the list?
Thank you!
