Norma thanks for posting about this.  I have ordered the article, but oh
come on:

"The study sample consisted of 5594 white, black and Mexican-American
infants, of whom 21 percent were exclusively breast-fed for four months,
10 percent partially breast-fed for four months, 24 percent breast-fed
for less than four months, and 45 percent never breast-fed. "

21% were exclusively breastfed for four months?  this sounds like the figure
the UK govt claim, but the definition of exclusive breastfeeding is
exclusive of other *milks*.  Wanna bet this is the same and that those
babies got water and who knows what all?  I am not saying they shouldn't be
in the study, but I think we should demand good definitions.

And when I see the paper, if I am wrong on the definition, I *will*
apologise!
